Went in for a quick to-go ice cream and waited 10 minutes to be served and another 10 just to get my two scoops and another 5 to get the change. The restaurant was not busy. There was serving staff just standing around and it didn’t make sense that the cooks had to come from around the back to grab my ice cream scoops. This is the second time I’ve been there and I hesitated going back because the service last time was equally horrible. At least this time there was actually diners whereas before my boyfriend and I were the only patrons and it still took 20-25 minutes to get served.

Friendly staff, diner atmosphere. Hit dog and gyro platter were both burnt and dry. The ice cream was great though. My son frequently this place often for burgers, maybe I should have tried that!

My husband and I have been coming to the Parlour for years. Today, on Mother’s Day, I requested ice cream at the Parlour. Our waitress was telling everyone “Happy Mother’s Day” and informing them of the Mother’s Day deal. She did not tell me or inform me of the deal. I had my 3-year-old with us, which was a clear indication that I am a mother. I hate to bring race up as an issue, but that is the only thing that made sense. Her interactions with us were short and very awkward. This is not a big restaurant, so to hear your waitress sound enthusiastic with everyone else was disappointing. We usually tip well, but we tipped her $2 when, honestly, she was deserving of $0. When you work in the service industry, your job is to serve everyone and treat everyone with dignity and respect. We like the Jackson location better and will probably never visit the Kalamazoo location again.

I wish I had remembered our waiters name, but he had a ponytail and gave us the best service we've had. The food was great and the ice cream was so good, we had to split the one we ordered because it was a lot. I definitely suggest going here, if you don't want to go for dinner and just want ice cream. Go to D'Nicio's Parlour. You will love it!

I had the nachos and it was pretty good and my friend had the sample platter it came with chicken strips,onion rings and french fries! Her daughter got a kids cheese burger and fries and her son got chicken strips and fries and they all said there's was good as well we all also got ice cream as well! 😊
